Group hypnosis research study at Goldsmiths - get paid £10

We would like to invite you to take part in our research study on hypnosis. The purpose of this study is to measure responsiveness to hypnosis (hypnotizability). It will involve a relaxation-based hypnotic induction and a set of suggestions for minor perceptual alterations from a standardized measure of hypnotizability that has been used with thousands of people. Nothing embarrassing will be done. The entire session will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and you will be compensated £10.

This research has been reviewed by and received ethics clearance through the Department Ethics Committee of the Department of Psychology of Goldsmiths, University of London.

About the researcher

Dr Terhune is a Lecturer in Psychology at Goldsmiths, University of London, where he conducts research on hypnosis and different features of consciousness using cognitive neuroscience methods.
